NMFR Dive Team
On February 21, 2011 it was announced we will begin the process of raising funds to establish a dive rescue program. This endeavor was a high level of priority given the tragic event that happned on February 19, 2011, as well as, other events over the course of the last year. We have seen a dramatic increase in ice/water rescue calls over the past five years.
In August of 2013, we reached the fundraising goal of $90,000. We would like to thank the family and friends of Bruce Peterson for all of their help in helping us reach this goal.
Donations continue to be accepted to help defray maintenance and future training costs. Any organizations, or individuals, who would like to contribute to the effort can make a donation payable to the following trust fund:
Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue
Attn: Dive Rescue Trust Fund
125 E. Columbian Ave.
Neenah, WI 54956
If you have any questions regarding this new program, please contact Assistant Chief Mike Sipin at (920) 886-6220 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
