NMFR Dive Team
On February 21, 2011 it was announced we will begin the process of raising funds to establish a dive rescue program. This endeavor was a high level of priority given the tragic event that happned on February 19, 2011, as well as, other events over the course of the last year. We have seen a dramatic increase in ice/water rescue calls over the past five years.
In August of 2013, we reached the fundraising goal of $90,000. Join us as we thank the family and friends of Bruce Peterson for all of their help in helping us reach this goal. A presentation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Menasha City Hall and on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Neenah City Hall.
Donations continue to be accepted to help defray maintenance and future training costs. Any organizations or individuals who would like to contribute to the effort can make a donation payable to the following trust fund:
Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue
Attn: Dive Rescue Trust Fund
125 E. Columbian Ave.
Neenah, WI 54956
