| Message: | Hello and welcome to the official website of Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue (NMFR). I am very pleased that you are taking the time to view this site. A site that represents 68 very qualified professionals dedicated to serving the citizens of Neenah and Menasha.
Having spent 20 years in the Fire Service, I have had the opportunity to work with numerous professional firefighters who have made it their pledge to hold themselves to a high level of service. Likewise, you will see that NMFR is a very progressive fire and life safety organization where employees strive to meet the department mission statement: "One Department, Fully Involved". I am responsible for the overall training program development and delivery within NMFR. This training relates to the various levels currently included in the department: firefighter, driver, and officer skills. In addition, my position also includes the development and delivery of special operations skills. NMFR is the designated confined space rescue agency for the Cities of Neenah and Menasha. NMFR is also a part of Wisconsin Task Force 3, a State regional collapse rescue team where we are partnered with the Appleton, Oshkosh, and Green Bay Fire Departments. Those duties include training in the areas of rope, confined space, trench, and collapse rescue. I also have an active role with the emergency management functions of both communities in the event of a catastrophic event. Please enjoy your visit to the NMFR website.
